So I have this really cute vintage looking (but new-ish) 50cc scooter that I really like. I use it during good weather and it’s been very fun and convenient. I’m very into how cute this thing looks and was my driving desire to purchase one. Yes I am vain and into judging how things look. So imagine my dismay when that pretty shiney chrome starts turning an ugly orange-brown rusty color!
Little did I know that the solution would be super easy! I searched online on how to remove rust. Got tons of varying results, many of which suggested products I was very unsure about and things that seem labor intensive or just plain made me skeptical. Then I came across this one: Tin foil and Soda. REALLY?
I was instructed to ball up tin foil, dip it in Coca Cola and use that tin foil ball to scrub at the rust. Ok.. sounds simple!
And ya know what? IT WORKS! Wow that’s pretty cool So go home and try it on some rust.

So when you have a dog you need to make sure it gets proper exercise. Daily walks, playing, running, fetch, swimming.. these are all great ways for your pooch to get a good work out. Unless your pup is like Lance Armstrong, then you may want to get him a bicycle.
It really fills my heart with joy when I hear a good love story, and I am especially happy to hear it from my friends. This past weekend one of my friends told me how she hates when her fiance makes the bacon flavored sausages he likes to eat for breakfast. She wakes up smelling the bacon and wants it, except there is never bacon only sausages! She does not like to touch the raw meat so she never makes the bacon for herself. “Why can’t we have some pancakes and bacon for breakfast once in a while?”
So of course she starts to get mad when she comes down the stairs, following the delicious aroma of bacon that teases her constantly. Was it sausages? NOPE!!! Heartshaped pancakes and bacon! Real bacon! He made her a special breakfast because he said it was her special day. The first time she will try on her wedding dress! Awwwww..
So this past weekend was a scorcher but luckily our friends had a puppy pool party. I forgot to take any photos of Niko and Guinness there! Oops. Well it was the first time that they swam and Guinness did quite well with those strong legs and big paws of his treading through the water. He was a pro already. Niko seemed quite nervous about swimming but did okay. He’s so skinny when wet! I’ll try to get a shot of him with his toothpick legs next time.
The water is a great way for dogs to cool down during the summer. Some really love it! Here are some photos I found of dogs enjoying the water
